The Irish Airs have evolved since their founding in 1986 into Indianapolis' premier Irish band. Playing a blend of Irish, Irish American, folk and contemporary styles, they have performed at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, Indianapolis Museum of Art, American Cabaret Theatre, the Athenaeum Rathskeller, Civic Theatre, Indianapolis Historical Society, Hilbert Circle Theater, Pike Performing Arts, and various Irish and art festivals in the region (including Indianapolis' Irish Fest, Indy Folk Series, and Cumberland Arts Summer Festival). They have performed with Dance Kaleidoscope, Indianapolis' Shannon Forsell, and several other musicians and groups throughout the Midwest, including numerous collaborations with the Irish Dancers of Indianapolis. Shows include I Am Of Ireland and A Celtic Christmas. They have performed with the Indianapolis Children's Choir, and accompanied the choir on its 2003 Ireland tour.
